معرفی داوران ششمین نمایشگاه سالانه حروف‌نگاری پوستر اسماء الحسنی

ریکو لینز از برزیل،پاسکال زغبی از لبنان،علی سیلان از ترکیه ،محمد خزایی و علیرضا معزی از ایران قرار است آثار ششمین نمایشگاه سالانه حروف نگاری پوستر اسماء الحسنی را داوری كنند.

بر اساس این گزارش،ریکو لینز از برزیل متولد سال 1955 در ریودوژانیرو است.او فعالیت هنری خود را به عنوان طراح ، مدیر هنری و مدرس آغاز و از سال 1979 در شهرهای بزرگی چون پاریس، لندن،نیویورک و ریودوژانیرو زندگی کرد و آثار حرفه‌ای خود را در به نمایش گذاشته است.مدال طلای انجمن مدیران هنری نیویورک و جایزه «وان من شو» پامپیدو پاریس سنتر را از آن خود کرده است. آثار او در مجلات و کتاب‌های طراحی بین‌المللی منتشر و در موزه هنرهای معاصر سائوپائولو ، موزه لافیش پاریس و موزه اشتاتلیش مونیخ به معرض نمایش و دید عموم گذاشته شده‌اند .این گرافیست در سال 2002 «لینز» طراح برگزیده سال برزیل شناخته و از سال 1997 به عضویت «آِ جی آی» درآمد.

پاسکال زغبی از لبنان هم طراح گرافیک و موسس استودیوی «29 حرف» در بیروت است. او نمونه‌های گوناگونی از فونت‌های جدید حروف عربی را طراحی و ابتکارات گوناگونی در زمینه فن چاپ گرافیک داشته است و پس از فارغ‌التحصیلی و اخذ فوق لیسانس در رشته حروف و رسانه از آکادمی رویال هنر در هلند، درگیر پروژه‌های بسیاری از طراحی نوین عربی شد. او فونت‌های متنوعی را که مورد استفاده نشریات پر تیراژ و مشهور عربی هستند خلق کرده که می‌توان به روزنامه‌های ( امارات الیوم ، الوطن و الرویا) ، طراحی حروف و گرافیک محیطی مکان‌هایی همچون مدینه جمیره و یا ترمینال 3 فرودگاه ابوظبی و طراحی لوگو تایپ برای موضوعات گوناگون اشاره کرد.

او همچنین با مجلات «اوریکس» ، جشنواره بین‌المللی فیلم خاورمیانه، هتل ویسوری ،گروه صنعتی جبریا، رشید فمیلی، دزرت ادونچرز، کانتمپ عربیا، فوسالوشنز گالری، فوکوس آرت و ... همکاری كرده است و در حال حاضر به موازات فعالیت‌های هنری‌اش به تدریس طراحی حروف و تایپوگرافی در دانشگاه آمریکایی (LAU) در لبنان و دانشگاه نوتردام (NDU) مشغول است.

علی سیلان از ترکیه نیز دیگر هنرمندی است كه فعالیت خود را با طراحی گرافیک و تدریس آغاز و تحصیلات خودرا در مقطع دکتری در سال 2004 در دانشگاه «19 مییس» به پایان رساند.سیلان کمپانی طراحی و تبلیغات خود را در سال 2005 تاسیس كرد و به موازات آن به عنوان استاد در دانشگاه در «سمسان» مشغول به تدریس طراحی گرافیک شد. مقالات بسیاری در خصوص طراحی گرافیک و تجزیه و تحلیل تبلیغات و همچنین کتابی تحت عنوان «مبانی گرافیک» منتشر کرده است.او تاکنون چند نمایشگاه از آثار خود برپا نموده و با حضور در مجامع بین‌المللی توانسته است جوایزی را از آن خود نماید.

گفتنی است:شرکت در نمایشگاه و ارسال آثار تنها از طریق ثبت نام آنلاین در سایت تودی پوسترز و بصورت الکترونیکی انجام می‌شود و آخرین مهلت آن روز دوشنبه 31 خرداد ماه است.

تاکنون طراحانی از 28 کشور مرحله اول ثبت نام را برای ارسال آثار انجام داده‌اند که 10 کشور اول به ترتیب حجم شرکت کنندگان آن می‌توان از ایران ،چین ،آمریکا ،ترکیه ،آلمان ،عربستان سعودی ،اندونزی ،لبنان ،انگلیس و فرانسه نام برد.

جوایز این دوره شامل یک جایزه اصلی چهار تا یك میلیون تومانی به همراه لوح ویژه نمایشگاه و سه جایزه نقدی دیگر به نفرات برگزیده اول تا سوم است.

Rico Lins / Brazil
Born in 1955, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Designer, Art Director, educator and curator. Lived between Paris, London, New York and Rio since 1979, works from São Paulo for print, film, exhibitions and brand consultancy. Gold Medal at NY Art Directors Club and one-man show at Paris Centre Pompidou, among others. His work was published in several international design magazines and books, and features in S. Paulo Museum of Contemporary Art, the Musée de l'Affiche in Paris and the Munich Staatliches Museum für Angewandte Kunst collections. In 2002 was nominated Designer of the Year in Brazil and is an AGI member since 1997.

Pascal Zoghbi / Lebanon
Pascal Zoghbi, Designer and Typographer, is the founder of 29letters, an Arabic Type Design and Typography firm in Beirut. His design work ranges from creating new Arabic fonts, corporate identities and print publications. Since 2006, after his graduation from the Type & Media course at The Royal Academy of Arts in Holland with a Master of Design, Pascal was involved in an impressive collection of new Arabic type design projects. He has created contemporary Arabic fonts for leading Middle Eastern Newspapers (Emarat Al Youm, AlWatan & Al Rouiah), urban places (Ibn Battuta Mall, Madinat Jumeirah, Abu Dhabi Airport Terminal 3), art events & magazines (ContempArabia & Alef Magazine) and several other companies. He developed corporate identities for Oryx Magazine, Middle East International Film Festival MEIFF, Viceroy Hotel Group, Jabria Industrial, Rashid Family, Desert Adventures, ContempArabia, Foo Solutions, Focus Art Gallery and several others. He has been teaching typography course at Lebanese American University LAU since 2008 and Notre Dame University NDU since 2006. He frequently gives lectures and workshops about Arabic type and typography and he runs a blog about Arabic type and typography.

Ali Seylan / Turkey
Born in Tokat, Turkey. Designer & Educator. PHD education completed in 2004 at 19 Mayis University. Design and advertising company established in 2005. Appointed as Assistant Professor to the same university, Samsun. Lectures of graphic design, advertising graphic, advertising  analysis  at graduate and post graduatel evel. Published articles, papers and a book entitled “Basic Design”. Ali Reza Mo’ezzi / Iran
Ali Reza Mo’ezzi was born in Tehran, and was graduated in communication sciences, journalism.
He began his career in journalism from 1994 and has mainly worked on cultural and artistic issues. His career spans several positions including:   
Culture researcher at political affairs deputy of Islamic Republic of Iran's Broadcasting (IRIB) organization (1995); the News Headquarters Director of former Kerman International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults; editorial board member of Nayestan journal (1996); Chief Editor of Sima quarterly on Iranian TV (1998); Cinema Editor of Abraar newspaper (1999); Chief Editor of Soroush weekly magazine affiliated to IRIB (1999-2003); Culture and Art Editor of Jam-e Jam newspaper (2003-2005); Executive Producer of Hamshahri Mahaleh weekly [covering the issues related to Tehran districts] (2006); Director of Hamshahri International newspaper (2006-2008); Chief Editor of Hamshahri UAE and Hamshahri Kuwait published for Iranians residing in the two countries (2006-2008). He is currently the Editorial Director of reputable Khabr newspaper and Khabar Online which is the most visited Iranian news website.

Mohammad Khazaei / Iran
Mohammad Khazaei was born in 1962; He has a PhD in Graphic  Design (Islamic Art and Design) from Birmingham University, UK, 1997. Dr. Khazaei is associate professor and as a member of the academic board of Tarbiat Modares University of Tehran since 1998. He also is the editor-in-chief of the specialized monthly journal of “Book of the Month in Art” since in 2005. Top designer of the Graphic Designers in Tehran Biannual, 1988. Dr. Khazaei is also a winner of a scholarship (Pares) from the Third Graphic Biannual, 1991. Other achievements of Dr. Khazaei are the following: Commendation letter from the 2nd International Islamic Poster Biannual, 2006 and the 9th Contemporary Iranian Graphic Biannual for sign and logo designs, 2007. Khazaei has published many books among them are: The Elixir of Design, 1988. A Thousand Designs, 1992 (2nd edition in 2002); Early Islamic Persian Art (in English), London 1999; The Arts of Islam, A Collection of Essays, 2003. He has submitted many papers in international conferences such as the International Islamic Art Conference in HOFSTRA, New York, 1996; and also the Seminar on The Art Majors in the universities of UK, 1996-97; also he has participated in over 25 lectures in national and international conferences. The publication of two ISI articles, over 12 scientific-research essays, and also 42 articles in scientific-promotional periodicals can be seen in Dr. Khazaie’s resume. Khazaei also participated in many art events as the leading judge and many other cultural and artistic events.
